Frequently Asked Questions

How do you take the castings?

Our hypo-allergenic, pleasantly warm casting material is held around each hand or foot until it sets (in less than a minute), then it is pulled off like a glove/sock and used as a mould.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. The casting product is hypo-allergenic and 100% safe.

How do I get a casting done?

Phone, text or email to arrange an appointment at our studio, or if you are in North Auckland, we can come to see you at home, however a call-out fee may be charged.

How long will it take for me to get my finished frame?

Frames are usually ready between 4-6 weeks from when the castings were taken, however if you require them earlier this can be arranged. Please discuss this during your appointment.

Is there an age limit for taking castings?

Not at all. The intricate details are captured in the castings from premature babies to your great, great grandmother.

Do you have gift vouchers?

Yes we do. You can purchase them for any value that you specify.

Can you take castings of babies that have passed away?

Yes, we would like to do whatever we can for families at this time of sadness.
